1. Interpretation and definitions

1.1. Interpretation

Words whose initial letter is capitalised have the meaning given to them below. These definitions apply equally in the singular and in the plural.

1.2. Definitions

For the purposes of this refund and return policy, the following terms are defined as follows:

  • The Company: means Objectif Canada TCF.
  • The Products: mean the subscriptions to the online preparation services for the TCF and TEF language tests offered on the Service.
  • The Orders: mean any request from you to purchase a subscription from us.
  • The Service: means the standalone Objectif Canada TCF e-learning web application and all of its content.
  • You: means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the legal entity (company or other legal body) on whose behalf that individual accesses or uses the Service, as applicable.
  • The Website: means the Objectif Canada TCF website, accessible from this link.

2. Free trial and consent to subscribe

Our e-learning web application provides an unlimited free trial for each exam (TCF and TEF) as well as for each of the tests making up those exams.

By taking out a paid subscription, you acknowledge that you have fully tested the Website, its various features and its content, and have expressly approved them. Consequently, no refund request can be accepted on the grounds of being unaware of the Website's content or features.

3. Your order cancellation rights (legal terms)

In accordance with the applicable legal provisions on the right of withdrawal, you benefit from the time limits and conditions provided for by law.

Under Cameroonian law, you have 48 hours from the subscription date to exercise your right of withdrawal, without having to give reasons or bear penalties, except, where applicable, return costs.

To exercise this right, you must notify us of your decision to withdraw before the above deadline expires, by a clear and unequivocal statement (for example, by post, fax or email).

However, in accordance with applicable law, the right of withdrawal can no longer be exercised once performance of the service has begun, with your express agreement, before the end of the withdrawal period. Given the nature of our services, which consist of immediate access to an online preparation platform, taking out a paid subscription constitutes your express consent to the start of the service.

4. Specific cancellation conditions (48-hour period)

In addition to the legal provisions, the following specific cancellation conditions also apply:

You also have the right to cancel your order within forty-eight (48) hours of the subscription date, without having to give a reason, provided that you have not started actively using the service for which you subscribed (for example, by accessing paid content beyond the free trial).

The cancellation period for an Order expires forty-eight (48) hours after the date of subscription to the pack.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement. You can inform us of your decision by the following means:

We will issue the refund within a maximum of fourteen (14) days from the date we receive your withdrawal notice. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the order, at no additional cost to you.

N.B. Sharing an account between users is strictly prohibited and will result in the immediate and irreversible deletion of your account.

5. Payment methods

We offer various payment methods, including mobile payment and bank card payment. Each user undertakes to comply with the terms of use specific to the payment method selected. We accept no liability for any fees or conditions imposed by the providers of those payment services.
